Dear Parents,
As part of our Year 6 English work this term, the children have been writing persuasive letters to convince me to let them complete the bucket lists they created during their Move-Up morning last year. I have to say—they did such a brilliant job with their writing that they’ve managed to persuade me!
So, as a result, we have some exciting activities planned to celebrate their final days at Holy Family. Please see below for some important dates and details:
Board Games Day – Monday 14th July
Children are invited to bring in a board game to play with their friends. Please make sure all games are clearly labelled.
Memory Scrapbook Making – Tuesday 15th July
The children will be creating scrapbooks to reflect on their time at Holy Family. If they wish to include any photos from home, they are welcome to bring them in.
PJ and Movie Morning – Wednesday 16th July
Children may come to school in their pyjamas or bring a pair to change into. Comfy or sports clothes are also fine. We’ll be watching a PG-rated film—if you do not want your child to watch a PG film, please contact me.
Karaoke Morning – Thursday 17th July
We’ll enjoy a fun morning of karaoke, either on the school field or in the hall, depending on the weather.
Finally, for the last week, we’re asking all children to bring in a pair of sunglasses and, if possible, a basketball cap.
