Committees
We have reviewed our committee structure. We now only have a Finance Committee, a Pay Review Committee and a Head Teacher Performance Group. Our Finance Committee meets termly and our Pay Review Committee meets twice a year.
If a committee or working party is required for any other reason, it will be formed at a meeting of the full governing body, for a specific function or period of time. Our drop down menu shows the committees or working parties which may be required: Hearings, Appeals and Pupil Discipline.
In order to ensure appropriate governor oversight of our schools, each governor is linked to a specific curriculum area or to a specific role and will visit our school in that capacity each term to discuss standards, operation and good practice with the appropriate staff member before reporting back to the full governing body.
